Dear Teachers, Students, and Parents,

Welcome Back to the 2026 Fall Semester!

Chinese-American School (洛城校区) welcomed students back for the first day of the 2026 Fall Semester. We were delighted to see everyone return to campus!

We also sincerely thank all parents for helping students register for classes and purchase textbooks, ensuring that classes could begin smoothly and in an orderly manner.

As we begin the new semester, let’s start with enthusiasm and energy! Please take a moment to carefully review the important information in this newsletter.

Fall Semester Parent Meeting

At the beginning of the new semester, the school will hold a parent meeting to strengthen communication and collaboration between families and the school, and to help parents better understand the course schedule and other important plans for the semester.

Meeting Agenda

1. Chinese Language Program
Dean Ying Sun will introduce the Chinese language courses for this semester, including the course structure and key instructional priorities.

2. Elective and Enrichment Courses
Mr. Weili, Head of Elective Programs, will introduce this semester’s elective and enrichment courses and related arrangements.

3. Campus and Classroom Use Guidelines
Principal Xiangbo Xia will review the school’s classroom and campus-use policies. We hope all parents will actively cooperate in maintaining a positive learning environment and orderly campus operations.

4. September 23–25 Welcome Activities & Other Updates
We will introduce the upcoming welcome activities, including registration information and participation opportunities. Parents are warmly encouraged to join us!

5. Prize Quiz 🎁
Enjoy a fun and interactive quiz, learn more about our school, and have a chance to win special prizes!

We sincerely invite all parents to attend. Together, let’s create a safe, respectful, positive, and well-organized learning environment for our children. We look forward to seeing you!

Fall Semester Registration Is Still Open

Registration for the new semester is still underway. We encourage parents and students to complete registration as soon as possible so that teachers can finalize class arrangements and prepare effectively for the semester.

Please note: Only students whose registration and payment have been completed will have their parents receive teacher communications and be added to the class WeChat groups.

Course Change and Withdrawal Policy

• Course changes: Must be completed by September 19, 2026 (within the first two weeks of the semester). No course changes will be accepted after this deadline.
• Withdrawal within the first two weeks: A 100% tuition refund will be provided for withdrawals made by September 19, 2026.
• Withdrawal within four weeks: A 50% tuition refund will be provided for withdrawals made by October 3, 2026.
• Withdrawal after October 3, 2026: No tuition refund will be provided.
• Registration fees are non-refundable.

关于换课、退课的规定：换课须在开学第二周内完成（9/19/2026前)，逾期概不办理。开学两周内退课（9/19/2026前），退还100%学费。四周内退课(10/3/2026前），退还50%学费。四周后退课(10/3/2026)不退款。注册费一律不退还。
