如何从美中实验学校获得蒙郡高中选修学分?
经蒙郡教育局批准，美中实验学校学生满足以下条件可在蒙郡公立学校获取选修学分。该学分将记录为语言/文化（中文）学分，但只作为一般选修学分而非外语学分。满足要求的学生在六月可由我校为该学生递交选修学分报告到该学生所在高中。
- 学生必须是蒙郡高中学生(英文学校是九年级或九年级以上）
- 学生必须是我校高中学生(中文学校是九年级或九年级以上）
- 学生必须满足我校对所修课程的要求
- 学生必须在每年五月十五日之前填写网上表格（如下）提出申请
- 学生必须在我校学满一整年两个学期课程，方可得 0.5 个选修学分，两年累计最多可得1个选修学分
高中学分网上申请表只在每年4月15日和5月15日之间开放。
How to earn general elective credit(Chinese) from Montgomery County Public School?
By attending an approved outside language school, students enrolled in Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) can earn 0.5 credit per academic year, which will count towards their high school general elective requirements. The credits earned at American Chinese School will be recorded on transcripts as Language/Culture Study (Chinese) and will count as general elective credits, not foreign language credits.
To qualify to earn credits, the student must meet the following requirements:
- Must be current MCPS high school student, and
- Must be American Chinese School student grade 9 and above, and
- Must complete a full year (two semesters) of the Chinese class, and
- Must meet the course objectives as determined by American Chinese School, and
- Must submit an online application (link below) by May 15th
The online application form will only be only from April 15 to May 15 each year.
